I retired in 2000 and taking up painting was definitely on my “bucket list” of things to try. After twenty years I am still wielding a paintbrush that has taken me on journeys that have given me great pleasure, and very often frustration!

I am lucky to live on the Somerset Levels with inspiration on my doorstep, and a garden which gives me so much pleasure in painting the flora and fauna.
