I draw and paint to record moments in time. People and places. In a way, then, it’s an illustration of things that have been important to me. It’s a memory bank that I often refer to.

I draw in pencil, ink, wash. I paint in acrylic, but I nearly always draw first. Accuracy seems important. So, I think a fault is overworking my painting. Difficult to leave it alone.
